I came to know George through his posts and comments on Facebook. He was a clear thinker and his writings were articulate, wise and insightful. His thoughts and words helped get me (and, I’m guessing, many others) through some very dark times in our country’s history. When I formed a private group on Facebook for those dedicated to praying for progress in the world, George was one of the first ones to join, and, pretty quickly, he became one of the administrators for the group. As he was getting his book ready for publication, he emailed me a copy pf his manuscript. It meant a lot to me that George – who I had so much respect for, as a writer and human being – sent me a copy of his manuscript. I miss his voice on Facebook very much. Karen Molenaar Terrell
