I first got acquainted with George, and later Bonniesue, when we were at the Alton (IL.) Christian Science church. He was one of those people who reached out from the heart to newcomers. He helped me settle into a farmhouse and was a steadfast friend and guide. It was always a joy to meet up with him and Bonniesue later, when they came to the WashDC area. He was always present in the moment, always quick to laugh, always a perceptive listener. I learned much about how to be a better person from George. Ed
