I once asked Milton Simon, CSB, a pupil of Adam Dickey, “Who are those most readily healed in Christian Science?”
He answered, “Those who are the most Christian.” The same can be said of those who most readily heal.
You have to be a Christian before you’re a Christian Scientist. George fulfilled both roles. He was well taught in Christian Science and well taught academically, but most of all he was a real Christian. Humble, giving, forgiving, joyous, “normal,” brave, determined, unshockable, hard working, and smart—a dedicated family man and a camper! In short, a Christian Science saint.

George was a good friend and humble Christian warrior. He was also a diligent scholar and brave independent voice. He is missed by all of us.
